Rules of Aussie Rules

This is a post for Daniel,
Aussie Rules is similar to rugby, but a completely different game.

There are 2 teams of 18 players (with 4 extras) on an oval field (same as cricket), with a ball a bit longer than that of rugby (and NFL).
The object of the game is to score by kicking the ball between the goal posts, with the highest score being awarded for kicking the ball between the middle two posts. To do this you can either kick the ball, and when it is caught on the foul (before it's hit the ground) it is consider a mark, where you cannot be touched for 3 seconds or until you start running. A shorter pass is a hand-ball, which involves a cupped fist hitting under 1 of the 2 nose ends of the ball.
A non-stop action game.

Update

Just thought I should mention: For all of you that are sports fans, and like fast paced sports, Australian Rules Football is your game.
The semi-finals with Fremantle (my team) and Geelong airs around 1:45 am MST. Should be a good game, but the cats are going down.

Hey
